In fact the President has come and already left. But ahead of US President Barrack Obama’s visit to India, Neha Dhupia had expressed a desire to meet him.
The actress, who plays Munni Madam, a recession-hit gangster in her forthcoming film Phas Gaye Re Obama, wanted to appeal to Obama to ‘take back’ the recession gifted to the world by America.
According to her, it would have been a lifetime opportunity for her to meet the President when he was here in India. “It is a sheer coincidence that our movie Phas Gaye Re Obama has such strong relevance. The President’s election rallies and the American recession’s impact on the world are the key elements that have been instrumental in shaping the script of this film and so I was hoping to meet him,” said the actress, who unfortunately could not succeed at meeting the international personality.

Phas Gaye Re Obama

'With Love to Obama' is comedy set against the backdrop of global recession/meltdown that originated in USA. The film traces the journey of Om Shashtri, an American citizen of Indian origin, who loses all his wealth overnight to the global recession & has been asked to vacate his home by the bank unless he pays up $100,000 (mortgaged amount) within 30 days.

Seeing no other option Om comes to India to sell a small piece of an ancestral property. But within days of landing in India he is kidnapped by a 'recession-hit' underworld gang who think that he is still a millionaire.

What happens to Om, is he able to save his home, how did the 'poor' gangster cope with their 'poor' catch & what do small town Indian gangsters have to say to President Obama...is largely forms the rest of the story.

The film, showcases how global recession/ meltdown impacted lives from an America based businessman to underworld dons in the dusty plains of small town India.

Cast: Rajat Kapoor,Neha Dhupia, Amol Gupte, Amit Sial, Sanjay Mishra, Manu Rishi, Brijendra Kala, Sumeet Nijhawan, Surendra Rajan, Pragati Pandey, Devender Chaudhary, Vivake, Avantica.
Director: Subhash Kapoor
Producer: Ashok Pandey

Neha Dhupia acted like a thugs at the music launch of her recent film Phas Gaye Re Obama. The actress, who is playing the character of a kidnapper (Munni Madam) in the movie, introduced her character at the music launch. Neha was dressed like a typical desi girl and dominated the whole cast and crew with her dadagiri. Such was Neha's dedication to her character that she even picked up a gun and headed towards the team of Phas Gaye Re Obama!

Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia is being dubbed as female Gabbar Singh these days, in response to her role in Phas Gaye Re Obama as Munni Madam, a dacoit who does not leave any stone unturned when it comes to using or abusing her power. An enthusiastic Neha strikes a pose and avows: “I am not the heroine but
a hero in the film. I have done everything that a hero does in the movie; including abusing and firing guns. Also, my gang performs murders and gang rape. We have done everything in the film.”

The actress insists it was a memorable experience to play a dacoit. “I am surprised by myself … at how I have done this role,” Neha marvels. “But I am happy to have done this film. Every time I became Munni Madam, I felt stronger than the world.”
Point out that Obama’s presence in the country was a happy coincidence for her film whose title had a reference to the US President’s name and the actress remarks: “Marketing is important. It may be a coincidence or a deliberate effort, I don’t know; but it’s good. We just want that message to reach people.”
So what message would Neha give Obama if given a chance? “I would just tell him to please watch my two-hour long movie whenever he has time. Also, if possible, I would like to take Obama out for a date; let him watch my film and talk about the recession,” smiles Neha.

DNAINDIA Shahruhk Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu Hindi Movie Online Review

Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu(U/A)
Director: Makarand Vinayak Deshpande
Cast: Pritika Chawla, Sanjay Dadheech, Choyoti Ghosh, Afzal Khan, Nagesh Bhosale, Makarand Deshpande
Rating: **
Theatre actor Deshpande is often seen playing the local goon with that mischievous streak to his personality. And Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu, whose story, direction and screenplay are credited to him, is no different.
Coming from a theatre personality, Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu is clearly an experimental film that explores the magic that Bollywood and its stars have on its fans from the lowest classes. It’s there in the title, and repeated incessantly throughout the length of the film, the influential power that Shah Rukh Khan has on Laali (Chawla), a flower vendor.
Laali and her folks are unable to decide if she is beautiful or she has turned beautiful after Khan’s out-of-the-blue compliment at a traffic signal. Never mind the reason, even neighbour and book vendor John (Dadheech) falls in love with the suddenly ‘khoobsurat’ Laali.
There is a love triangle. Remember Khan’s DevdasShahrukh Bola... has the Devdas John and Paaro Laali while hooker Champa (Ghosh) is Chandramukhi. But our Paro is not crazy about Devdas while Chandramukhi will get laid, beaten up, and even kill for his attention.
The film moves at a dreamy pace and has many a superfluous character, the most awkwardly sticking out being Deshpande himself as the psycho bhai Salim Hatela. Deshpande is clearly smitten by Khan’s voodoo and you can see Deshpande’s vision unfolding on Laali’s face.
Chawla and Dadheech’s acting skills stay with you. Ghosh’s prostitute act personifies unrequited love and revenge impeccably. Apart from Khan’s name, the film has nothing much to boast about, but that does not undermine the intention of showcasing the power of stardom on the masses. It’s plainly overdone, however, to say the least. A more subtle approach may well have had an impact, making space for itself in the cluttered Bollywood.
Perhaps it's best to wait until the film airs on television. A trip to the multiplex may just not be worth the time or money.
Shahrukh Bola Khubsoorat Hai Tu
Indian Express Movie Review-Shahrukh Bola Khubsoorat Hai Tu: One day, a grimy flower-seller at a traffic intersection is told by the country’s biggest superstar: khubhsoorat hai tu . And Lali’s world changes.
This could have been a nice film, especially because it comes from Makrand Deshpande, fine actor and playwright. What we get is jaw-droppingly bad. Lali (Chawla) is adored by a scrawny fellow who sells cheap bestsellers at the same crossing, who is adored in turn by a bar dancer. He is jealous of Shah Rukh Khan, the guy who has the temerity to smile at his girl. The bar dancer is jealous of the flower-seller. They call each other names, and engage in fisticuffs. The bookseller boyfriend gets beaten up every few minutes. He also gets drunk and lurches about. The flower-seller spends her time in a theatre playing Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge , and repeating SRK’s dialogues to the goondas who live down the lane.

The ApunKaChoice movie review of Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu. The difference between fiction and reality is that the latter bites. And for some starry-eyed fans of Bollywood mega stars, the line between the two seems to blur at times. Theatre actor-director Makrand Deshpande’s debut film as director, SBKHT is a tale of one such ordinary girl who is smitten with her screen idol Shahrukh Khan.

Laali (Preetika Chawla) is a flower seller at a traffic signal in Mumbai. One day, Shahrukh himself stops by at the signal momentarily and compliments Laali on her pretty looks. “Khoobsurat hai tu,” he says and from then on these three words become the gospel truth for this petite basti dweller who has a jealous and possessive lover - a bookseller named John on the same signal - to contend with.

A rebuked John sees himself as a lovelorn Devdas pining for his Paro who’s lost in the daydreams of Shahrukh Khan. There’s also a feisty bar dancer who sees herself as Chandramukhi and tries to woo the devastated Devdas.

SBKHT begins on a shocking note and then settles into a slumberous pace as the characters are established. What stands out the most in the film is the authenticity with which Deshpande captures the grime and squalor of a basti. The story does seem disjointed at times as a number of aggressive characters are thrown in - a cop, a local don and a journalist.

Among actors Preetika stands out with her dreamy-eyed act. Deshpande plays the gangster. Shahrukh has a fleeting cameo. The film gets a tad repetitive in the second half.

SBKHT is at best an optimistic experiment. At worst, it’s a dull film that leaves you bored.

 Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu
GlamSham Hindi Movie Review

Some years back, Neha Dhupia in an interview had said that in Bollywood, either sex sells or Shahrukh Khan. The makers of SHAHRUKH BOLA KHOOBSURAT HAI TU have perhaps tried to cash in on the latter. The 2003 film, MAIN MADHURI DIXIT BANNA CHAHTI HOON starring Antara Mali also did something similar, but didn't do well.

Makrand Deshpande, a known name in the theatre world ventures into Bollywood direction with SHAHRUKH BOLA KHOOBSURAT HAI TU. Interestingly, he is the same guy who was seen with Shahrukh Khan in the song,Yunhi chala chal Rahi from SWADES. He has acted in many films in the past.

Laali (Preetika Chawla) is a girl who sells flowers for a living. One day, a car stops right besides her, and the person who's sitting inside the car is none other than superstar Shahrukh Khan. He calls her beautiful, leaving her flabbergasted. This incident has a life-changing impact on her. She doesn't reciprocate bookseller John's love, who stabs her and envies Shahrukh. In her fantasy world, she believes that Shahrukh Khan will save her in all circumstances. A journalist sees this as a potential story and follows Laali and other people associated with her.

The concept of relationship between a fan and a star is definitely novel. But the execution by director Makrand Deshpande is pretty vapid here. The narrative is devoid of engaging moments making it a painful watch. One fails to understand whether it's from the journalist's point of view or the flower seller's. The ambiguous climax just adds to the woes.

Shot in actual locations, Makrand manages to give the film a realistic look. The editing by Sanjib Dutta is incoherent. Vasuda Sharma's music is good. But the copious songs spoil the film's flow.

Preetika Chawla is passable. Sanjay Dadheech is pathetic. Makrand Despande is good as the bad guy. Shahrukh Khan's cameo is excellent. The actress playing Champa delivers a superb performance.

Just having Shahrukh's name, without a good script, is not enough to salvage SHAHRUKH BOLA KHOOBSURAT HAI TU.

Rating: 1.5/5

SHAHRUKH BOLA KHOOBSURAT HAI TU is a movie just as unique as its name. Directed by Makrand Deshpande and with a star cast of Preetika Chawla and Afzaal Khan debuting through this flick there is a lot more that comes across in this romantic drama which is one of a kind.
Other actors in the supporting role include Kay Kay Menon and Nagesh Bhonsle also since the movie has Shahrukh in the title itself; the actor has a cameo part in the movie.
Hitting theatres today that is the 19th of November, the movie is about a girl Laali who is a die hard fan of Shahrukh who can go to any heights for him. Nurturing the dream of being a heroine one day and meeting Shahrukh Laali makes money by standing on the road side and selling flowers to passer by’s.
One fine day Laali gets really lucky as she meets her inspiration Shahrukh sitting in a car while she sells flowers. Seeing him Laali goes mad and Shahrukh leaves the spot with words “Khubsurat Hai Tu”.
But the only issue is that nobody is ready to believe that she actually met her mad love by the road. The main parts of the movie were shot in Goa and Mumbai.

Hitting theatres today the film will surely face a tough time because of big boomer Guzaarish that shares the release date.
Let’s see what the magic of Laali and Shahrukh can do on the box office with Guzaarish lined up too..

Vidya Balan Backless Topless Photos

Ever since Vidya Balan appeared on the cover of the anniversary issue of FHM in a bare- back avatar , she has been flooded with calls and SMSes from her fans from all over the world. Vidya appeared as a bare- back wonder as she posed in a halfdraped chiffon saree for the cover of the magazine, which has led many hearts aflutter.

A source close to Vidya says: “ Vidya has always been loved in sarees. And she created a record as she is the first woman to appear on the cover of FHM in one. But, her sensuous avatar has led thousands of people from all over the world to call, SMS and send her the same picture to get her autograph on it.” Vidya was criticised when she appeared in Western outfits in the film Heyy Babyy and was dubbed as a fashion disaster.

She was always appreciated as an Indian beauty and the fashion designers thought that sarees always enhanced her beauty. So, when the magazine approached her for a cover photo shoot, she came up with the idea that she would pose in a saree and yet look sensuous.

“ I’m so glad people are getting bored of seeing women in bikinis. We’ve become very parochial about sexiness. I think saree is, by far, the sexiest garment — it covers the right amount, it exposes the right amount — it’s such a tease and I like teasing,” says Vidya.

She is the most talented and highly sensuous beauty of Bollywood and looking at this picture will give you a reason about why she is called hot. Resting seductively on a creative porch, Vidya is giving a eye popping view of her curvaceous butt and with those colorful anklets caressing her silky legs, a man cannot ask for more. While her luscious tresses glide lazily over her desiring eyes, Vidya resembles a hot erotic Indian woman who is waiting to be taken with full vigor and passion. It is time for Vidya to give some ‘Vidya’ on love and lust.

Nowadays heroines can't expect their career to zoom in without indulging in skin show. When top heroines are happily getting into two piece bikinis, the second rate or B grade actresses can't afford to sit behind the line singing so-called grandma principles aloud. Hence, Vidya Balan, the branded family-heroine too is moving the borders boarder.

Beautilicious Vidya Balan is slowly turning seductress in her own ways. Her recent photo shoot for FHM magazine is a classic example to how hot Vidya Balan can get if 'needed'. She has set the still cameras on fire by posing her bare back clad herself in a trademark sari.

Vidya Balan's backless pictures are a super hit on internet now. Vidya's fans and hot pictures lovers are going berserk over Vidya Balan topless photos. These pictures are sending shivers down the spines of Mallikas and Sherlyns too. This is what we call "She's 'back' with a bang," what say?

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan goes backless on the cover of the FHM India Men's Magazine.

The magazine has successfully completed three years this November in print and she has graced the cover page with her beauty.

The cover features Vidya in an alluring pose with her back exposed, looking towards the camera over one shoulder.

She is the first actress on the cover of FHM India drapped in a saree. She looks stunning in a white saree with a new concept of missing blouse. Watch Photo Gallery

She has been seen often in backless attires, but this time she goes a step ahead. Well, grab your copy to check the same.
