Catch has showcased so much base jumping and other sundry stunts on tall buildings by the likes of Tom Cruise, that I could kick myself for having missed this.
And it does not at all help that this video seems to have been posted on youtube only today and was immediately discovered by my colleague Prasad Sanyal who shall now wear that smug grin all evening.

This was in October this year. SRK had tweeted then that he had done the daring stunt and had also posted a picture of that building and captioned it: "Had done the base jump from this building...eh the tall one on the left...now feeling scared."
Just a few days back, Shahrukh did the heart-stopping base jump from the top of a 300-foot-high building in Berlin, where Don 2 is being shot. Not just this, during the schedule, he’s been learning other dangerous stunts as well.
“Learnt scuba diving...base flying...fast driving (crashed also once)...gyming...old songs...PS3 (Play Station 3) soccer...Beat Boman & Ritesh (Farhan & me)...happy,” SRK tweeted on his wedding anniversary which is on Monday.
It’s SRK and Gauri’s 20th wedding anniversary, marking 19 years of their togetherness.
“Also wedding anniversary today...19 years of togetherness and two angels to show for it. By far our best productions,” SRK added.
Billed as an Indo-Germain production Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg is financially supporting Don 2, and Shahrukh hopes that Don 2 will begin a new love affair between Bollywood and Berlin, and encourage millions of Indians to visit the beautiful city.
In the movie, Shahrukh Khan’s character, the elusive don, will be wanted by the police of 132 countries, against the 11 countries in the first film. The sequel retains its original cast of Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, and includes some new names like Lara Dutta, Sameera Reddy and Kunal Kapoor.
'Don 2' will have deadlier stunts and chases than 'Don', featuring famous Berlin landmarks, including the great Cathedral, and a car chase through the streets of Berlin around Checkpoint Charley.
